CM Mann slams Akali Dal over alleged power theft; calls for social boycott of SAD leaders

Chandigarh, Apr 6 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann launched a scathing attack on the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Monday, accusing its leadership of being "habitual offenders" who continue to exploit state resources even while out of power.
Speaking at a public gathering in Patiala, the Chief Minister referred to a recent incident in Sri Muktsar Sahib where Akali leaders were allegedly caught stealing electricity for a rally. He stated that those who previously "looted sand and buses" have now resorted to power theft, reflecting an entrenched mindset of plundering the state.
Taking his critique further, the Chief Minister called for a complete social boycott of SAD leaders, holding them responsible for the tragic incidents of sacrilege and the subsequent atrocities against innocent protestors during their previous regime.
