Seven school children killed in road accident in Patiala

Chandigarh, May 7 (UNI) In a tragic accident, seven school children and a school van driver were killed when a tipper truck hit the van in Samana of Patiala district in Punjab, police said on Wednesday.
Sources said that the ill-fated vehicle was carrying children back to their home when the incident occurred.
The van was carrying 12 children when the accident took place. Three children are injured and admitted to hospital in critical condition, while two have been discharged from hospital.
