Cong plans to revive the practice of triple talaq: Yogi

Cong plans to revive the practice of triple talaq: Yogi

Ballia (UP), May 25 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that if given the chance to govern Congress plans to reintroduce the evil practice of triple talaq in the country by
implementing Personal Law as outlined in their manifesto.
Addressing a public meeting at Maniar Inter College Ground to garner support for NDA candidate from the Salempur Lok Sabha seat Ravindra Kushwaha, the CM cautioned the people against the Congress' and INDI alliance's agenda to impose Taliban like rule in the country by implementing Sharia Law in the country.
He said, "While on the one hand, the opposition wants to curtail the freedom of women, denying them even the right to education, PM Narendra Modi implemented the Nari Shakti Vandan Act to increase women's representation in the Parliament."
Paying obeisance to Lord Parshuram and Maharishi Bhrigu, Yogi said, "There is a wave of enthusiasm and excitement across the country in favour of the Modi government once again. The results on June 4 will see fulfilment of the resolve of 'Abki Baar, 400 Paar'. Hearing this call to surpass 400 seats, the SP and Congress are feeling disoriented and are already out of the contest."
He said, "We have witnessed a transforming India in the last 10 years. Casting your vote for the lotus symbol empowers Prime Minister Modi at the centre and me in the state. Presently, India's respect has increased, borders are secure, and terrorism and Naxalism have been eradicated."
The CM said, "When Congress ruled at the center and the SP governed the state, bomb blasts were a daily occurrence, affecting every corner of the country. Their focus on vote bank politics led to a neglect in addressing terrorism. Nowadays, even if a firecracker bursts loudly, Pakistan denies any involvement."
He said that a new India is forging ahead on the path of development. "Over 80 crore people in the country are receiving free rations, while Pakistan, with a population of 23 crore, is facing starvation deaths. Yet, those who support Pakistan in India, should rather move to Pakistan and beg there. Meanwhile, the BJP government will ensure housing for 3 crore poor people in the country after June 4," he said.
The CM said, "After a 500-year wait, PM Modi has enshrined Lord Ram Lalla in the grand and divine Ram Temple. The SP and Congress are the ones who fired bullets at Ram Bhakts and supported terrorists."
He said that members of the INDI alliance rely on falsehoods to secure power. He said that while there are claims that the BJP intends to alter the Constitution, the Alliance's manifestos reveal plans to grant OBC reservations to Muslims and enforce personal laws if they gain power.
Yogi said that the government has not only built the Ram Temple, but also a university in the name of Maharaja Suheldev in Ayodhya. "However, the people of SP shy away from mentioning the name of Maharaja Suheldev, who defeated Salar Masud in Bahraich, in order to please their vote bank," he said.
