BJP is trying to conceal the NCRB facts: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow, Oct 3(UNI) Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has alleged that the BJP is unmatched in fabricating statistics and concealing its misdeeds.
"It is a master at deceiving the public. According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), Uttar Pradesh currently ranks first in crime statistics, murders, kidnappings, and crimes against women. However, as is the BJP's habit, it manipulated statistics to conceal the truth. Its deceptive program has been exposed. Everyone is now desperate to get rid of BJP rule because as long as the BJP remains in power, no one's life will be safe," he said.
In a press statement here on Friday, Akhilesh Yadav said, "NCRB data shows that Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of cases of crimes against women. In 2023, 223 children were murdered, 19 were raped and murdered, and 8,160 children were kidnapped In the state. There were 2,141 cases of dowry deaths and 15,074 cases of kidnapping and hostage-taking of women."
