Attacks on Hindus in Bengal 'politically sponsored violence': Sadhvi Prachi

Bareilly (UP), Apr 20 (UNI) Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)'s leader Sadhvi Prachi on Sunday fiercely targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her government, alleging that the atrocities being committed against Hindus in West Bengal are not a coincidence but part of a deep conspiracy, in which the role of the state government is suspicious.
Talking to reporters at Bareilly Circuit House, Sadhvi Prachi described the attacks on Hindus as 'politically sponsored violence' and said that this is the result of the Mamata government's policy of appeasement.
She said, "Hindus are no longer safe in West Bengal. The Mamata Banerjee government is so involved in vote bank politics that it is openly allowing attacks on the faith of Hindus, their festivals, and religious freedom."
