Congress Rajasthan president accuses BJP led state Govt of rampant corruption

Jaipur, Oct 1 (UNI) The Congress Rajasthan unit President Govind Singh Dotasra has levelled charges of rampant corruption in transfer-posting and other public centric services, against the state government.
Talking to media persons at the party state headquarters here this evening Dotasra said "People from all strata of the society are perturbed, the incumbent government is not at all concerned of the public service and governance. The CM and Ministers do address only the directives from New Delhi.
Nobody can say with confidence which service/work is genuine, which could be cleared appropriately and at what (and whose) level. Then, one finds 'parchi system' as an option that to with much uncertainty", the grand old party state chief alleged.

Mohali, Nov 14 (UNI) Police in Mohali have uncovered a massive fake currency racket, seizing counterfeit notes with a face value of ₹9.88 crore from a Scorpio vehicle during a checkpoint operation. Officials said duplicates of discontinued ₹1,000 and ₹500 notes, along with fake ₹2,000 notes, were found stacked between layers of genuine currency.

Clerk arrested in Farrukhabad for accepting Rs 15,000 bribe

Farrukhabad, Nov 14 (UNI) A clerk posted at the Superintendent of Police (SP) office in Farrukhabad has been arrested on charges of bribery on Friday. A six-member team from the Lucknow Anti-Corruption Organization unit caught him red-handed while he was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000.
