Six tainted candidates admit their crime by withdrawing petition: Congress

Shimla, May 11 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Industry Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan has said that six tainted MLAs have accepted their crime by withdrawing the petition from the Supreme Court.
He said that after being disqualified, all six tainted candidates had challenged the Assembly Speaker's decision in the Supreme Court, but these leaders have withdrawn their petitions in the court, which means that the Speaker's decision was correct and as per the rules.
He further said that since the apex court did not stay decision of the Speaker, they realised that they would not get any relief from apex court and hence, they withdrew the petition, he argued.
