Governor Kataria welcomes ceasefire, but says tight vigil must continue to be maintained

Chandigarh, May 10 (UNI) Lauding the ceasefire between India and Pakistan after a series of military exchanges between the two sides,Punjab Governor and Administrator UT Chandigarh Gulab Chand Kataria today emphasised the need for not letting the guard down and said that such challenges need to be faced boldly.
Speaking at an all-party meeting, he expressed gratitude to the people of Punjab for supporting the armed forces.
He added that the armed forces of India gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani forces. Stressing the significance of civil defence training, Kataria added that tight vigil must continue to be maintained as that is the need of the hour.
