Mukerian businessman’s family appeals to CM Mann as row with minister deepens

Chandigarh, April 11 (UNI) The ongoing dispute between Mukerian-based businessman Malkit Singh and Punjab Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian took a dramatic turn on Saturday as the businessman’s daughters released a video message seeking intervention from Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
In the video, which has since gained significant traction, the children claimed they have been forced to stop attending school due to safety concerns and alleged intimidation by the Minister and his associates. They questioned their "fault" in the administrative tussle, stating that the fear of kidnapping or physical harm has kept them confined to their home, severely affecting their education.
Directly addressing the Chief Minister, the girls alleged that Minister Mundian, who hails from their native village of Hayatpur, has been orchestrating mental torture against their father and the entire family.
