LG chairs preparatory meeting ahead of Modi’s Jammu visit

Srinagar, June 3 (UNI) Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on June 6 to inaugurate the Chenab Bridge — the world’s highest railway bridge — and flag off the Vande Bharat train service connecting Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a high-level preparatory meeting with senior administrative and police officials at the Raj Bhawan in Srinagar.

An official spokesman said the Lieutenant Governor discussed various aspects of preparations and appealed to the people to participate in large numbers and make the launch event a memorable one
