HP Food Commission stresses convergence, training to boost nutrition

Shimla, May 6 (UNI): The State Food Commission Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday stressed inter-departmental convergence and capacity-building to strengthen nutrition-related interventions across the state.
The emphasis came during a high-level meeting chaired by Commission Chairman Dr. S P Katyal, where representatives from key departments, universities, and technical institutions deliberated on improving coordination, training mechanisms, and resource sharing.
Officials from Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSK HPKV), Palampur, along with the departments of Women and Child Development, Department of School Education, participated in the discussions.
