Shimla/Mandi, May 25 (UNI) The Congress has criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for accusing the Congress government of mismanaging crores of rupees, purportedly given as rain relief to Himachal Pradesh, calling the claims a "damp squib" with no evidence to support them.
Public Works Department Minister and Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh as the concerned minister stated on oath that not a single penny had been handed over to the state by the central government.
He condemned the Prime Minister's statement during the election campaign, describing it as a matter of serious concern that voters would address in the elections.
