After flagging irregularities, Himacahal CM orders reforms in Himcare

Shimla, April 9 (UNI) After irregularities were flagged in the implementation of the Himcare Scheme, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has suggested reforms in the payment mechanism to ensure transparency, efficiency and curb the possibility of corruption.
Chief Minister had shared the concerns being raised about the Himcare Scheme in the State Legislative Assembly recently and had hinted at bringing about changes to make the scheme transparent.
Presiding over a review meeting on the health sector on Thursday, the Chief Minister was informed about qualitative improvements being brought in to further strengthen the scheme and streamline the process of payments to hospitals.

The state’s first Skill Development Centre under the Jal Jeevan Mission has been established in Ayodhya, where artisans associated with the mission are being provided practical training. So far, more than 550 artisans, including women, have been trained and made skilled.
