Himachal reports 110 fresh Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths

Hamirpur (HP), Nov 23 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh has reported 110 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths in the past 24 hours, a Health Department said here on Tuesday.
Three aged people, two from Kangra district and one from Mandi district lost their lives due to the dreaded Coronavirus on Monday, said a spokesman of the HP Health Department.
He told UNI today that the number of active cases in the state had come down to 875 as the number of cured cases (142) was higher than the new cases (110) on Monday.
He said that while 43 new cases were reported in Kangra district, Hamirpur reported 17, Shimla-13, and Mandi 12 cases.
The spokesman said that the number of total fatalities had gone up to 3,817.
Similarly, the number of total confirmed cases in the state has also gone up to 226505 and cured cases to 221796.
Meanwhile, seventeen new positive cases once again surfaced in Hamirpur district today, where only one case was found on Sunday.
The number of active cases in the district has come down to 179 but the total fatalities had risen to 300.
On other hand, Deputy Commissioner, Debasweta Banik has asked all the district officers to submit her with the detailed report of persons who had got them vaccinated for the first and second doses respectively.
She said that one hundred teams of officers and PRI functionaries had been put in the field to manage people to get them vaccinated before November 30th.
