150 years of 'Vande Mataram' celebrated at HP Raj Bhavan

Shimla, Nov 7 (UNI) To mark the 150th anniversary of the immortal national song 'Vande Mataram', a special programme was organised today at Raj Bhavan in the presence of Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla.
All the officials and staff members of the Raj Bhavan joined together in the soulful rendition of 'Vande Mataram', celebrating the spirit of patriotism and devotion to the motherland.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor said that “Vande Mataram” was a timeless ode to the love, reverence, and unwavering devotion towards Bharat Mata. He observed that the song continues to ignite the flame of nationalism in every Indian heart.
