UP achieves new milestone in Energy Sector: Third Unit of Tehri pumped storage plant commissioned

Lucknow, Dec 10(UNI) Uttar Pradesh received another major boost in the field of power generation on Wednesday when the third unit of the Tehri Pumped Storage Plant (PSP), the country's first variable-speed pumped storage project, officially commenced commercial operations.
The virtual inauguration was jointly performed by union Minister of Power and Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Uttar Pradesh Energy Minister, A.K. Sharma.
