UP: 12.89 pc votes polled on 14 seats till 9 am

Lucknow, May 20 (UNI) Approximately 12.89 percent of over 2.7 crore votes were polled on 14 seats in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, till 9 am on Monday.
According to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) maximum 14.57 percent votes were polled in Banda, whereas Gonda recorded a minimum turnout of 9.55 percent.
In Lucknow where Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is in fray to take forward Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) legacy for the third consecutive time, 10.39 percent votes were polled in the first two hours of polling till 9 am.
