Chandigarh, May 15 (UNI) A number of senior leaders of the Congressv Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) joined Punjab's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday.
AAP Punjab President and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann formally inducted all the leaders into the party and said with the joining of these important leaders, AAP has become very strong in Amritsar, Sangrur and Patiala LS Constituencies. He said this time too there is a wave in favour of AAP in Punjab. "We are winning this election13-0," he said, predicting his party will win all the seats.
In Amritsar, BSP leader Dalvir Kaur, who contested the 2022 Assembly Elections from Amritsar Central constituency, crossed over to the state's ruling party.
