Second randomization of EVM-VVPAT at Vidhansabha level on May 19: DC

Dharamshala, May 3 ( UNI) District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Kangra Hemraj Bairwa said on Friday that the second randomization of EVMs and VVPATs to be used during the Lok Sabha elections-2024 will be held on May 19 in the presence of representatives of political parties.
EVM-VVPAT were sent to the headquarters of seven Vidhansabha constituencies with tight security. The First randomization was done in the presence of political parties at the district headquarters.
He said after the first randomization of EVMs and VVPATs, they were sent to seven assembly constituencies -- Nurpur, Indora, Fatehpur, Jawali, Dehra, Jaswan Pragpur, Jawalamukhi on Friday amid tight security, while dispatch of EVMs and VVPATs will be made on Saturday for Jaisinghpur, Sulh, Nagarota Bagban, Kangra, Shahpur, Dharamshala and Palampur.
