PM Shri School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Una wins national first prize in Model Youth Gram Sabha Competition

Una, Jan 29(UNI) PM Shri School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pekhubela, Una, has brought laurels to Una district and Himachal Pradesh by securing the first position at the national level in the Model Youth Gram Sabha competition under the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya category.
The school team received the award from the union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel, at a national ceremony held on Wednesday at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The school was presented with a check for Rs. 1 crore, a certificate of appreciation, and a memento.
The award was received by the school principal, Raj Singh, along with the participating students. Members of the school's teaching staff, Sunita Chaudhary, Amit Kumar, and Dharmendra Kumar, along with District Panchayat Officer Una, Shravan Kumar, were also present at the ceremony.
