Dhami says Uttarakhand economy swelled 26 times, per capita grew 17 times in 25 years

Dehradun, Nov 1(UNI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today said that the state's economy has increased 26 times while per capita income of the state has gone up 17 times in the last 25 years. Dhami stated this as he traced the state's 25 years-old development trajectory on Saturday at the BJP office.
Speaking about his government's program for silver jubilee celebrations that started on Saturday, Dhami said the size of the state's economy has increased 26 times and per capita income grew 17 times in the last 25 years of state's formation. State's budget outlay for the first time exceeded ₹1 lakh crore in 2025 as against ₹4000 crore size of the first budget of the state. At the same per capita income of the state has gone by more than 17 times today."
Mentioning state's progress on social parameters Dhami stated that 58 lakh Ayushman were distributed while maternal mortality ratio (MMR) has steeply reduced to 91 in 2023. Over 1.65 lakh women have become self-reliant under the lakhpati didi scheme. old-age pension has been increased to ₹1,500 to each of the elderly couples.
