Union Govt approves Rs 50 Cr to improve municipal services in Himachal

Shimla, Mar 5 (UNI) The Union Government has approved Rs 50 crore for improving municipal services in Himachal Pradesh.
This financial assistance was finalized through an official memorandum signed by Union Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Himachal Pradesh Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh on March three.
The funds will be used to set up Municipal Shared Services Centres (MSSCs), which will make it easier for people to access essential services like birth and death certificates, trade licenses, property tax payments and refunds and online complaint registration and grievance redressal.
