State level I-Day celebrations to be held in Dehra

Dharamshala, Aug 3 (UNI) The 78th state-level Independence Day will be celebrated this time in Dehra, a sub-division of Kangra district.
Deputy Commissioner Kangra Hemraj Bairwa said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will preside over the state-level Independence Day celebrations in Dehra on this occasion. The Deputy Commissioner said that the state-level Independence Day celebrations will begin at Shaheed Bhuvnesh Dogra Stadium in Dehra at 1100 hrs on August 15, 2024. During this, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Ashish Butel and Kishori Lal will also participate in the state-level Independence Day celebrations along with the Chief Minister.
The DC said that in this connection, a meeting has been held with the officials of the Police, Public Works, Jal Shakti, and Language Departments, besides Municipal Council Dehra and all other departments, and their roles have been defined.
