State-level Nalwari Fair to be held from March 17 to 23 in Bilaspur

Bilaspur, Jan 16 (UNI) The State-Level Nalwari Fair 2026, an event of historical and cultural significance for the Bilaspur district, will be held this year from March 17 to 23.
The district administration has begun preparations to ensure the successful and well-organised conduct of the fair.
In this regard, the first preliminary meeting regarding the fair's organisation was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar, with officials from various departments in attendance.

Four Indian girls rescued from Oman after Seechewal's intervention

Chandigarh, Feb 7 (UNI) Four Indian girls, three from Punjab and one from Kerala, trapped in human trafficking networks in Oman have safely returned to India. Their repatriation was made possible through persistent efforts of Rajya Sabha MP Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal, in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Indian Embassy in Oman.
