Businessmen defrauded of crores, demand CM Yogi Adityanath intervene and ensure fair probe

Lucknow, Apr 11 (UNI) Several businessmen came together here today to allege they were defrauded of crores of rupees in a massive scam, and demanded that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath intervene in the matter and ensure a fair investigation and strict action against the accused.
The victims claimed that over 200 businessmen have been defrauded by this fraudulent investment scheme, allegedly operating under the name of Fashion TV, amounting to over ₹500 crore. Many said they have been left financially devastated and in debt.
At the press conference, here on Saturday several businessmen, including Manoj Agarwal from Lucknow, Vikas Bansal from Delhi, and Rajesh Talwani from Mumbai, shared their experiences. They allege this is a well-planned and long-running financial crime, in which people were lured with promises of profits of up to 80% per year.
