UP: Woman, 2 daughters found dead in pond in Bahraich, police probe underway

Bahraich, Jan 11 (UNI) The bodies of a 35-year-old woman and her two young daughters were recovered from a pond in Payagpur town of Bahraich district late Saturday night.
The incident has triggered allegations of dowry-related harassment and possible murder, though police on Sunday say the exact circumstances of the deaths are still unclear.
The deceased woman, Nisha, was married to Vishnu 12 years ago and had three daughters—Lado (10), Misty (7), and Khushbu (2). The bodies of Nisha, Misty, and Khushbu were found in a pond located behind their house.
