Jammu Police nabs couple with 2-kg heroin worth crores

Jammu, June 27 (UNI) Police on Thursday arrested a couple with two-kg of heroin worth crores from general bus stand area here.
Police said that continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse under Operation 'Sanjeevani', a drug peddler couple was taken into custody at Bus Stand Jammu under the jurisdiction of bus stand police station.
A Police team while on naka duty at bus stand area arrested a couple namely Showqat Ali and his wife Salima Biwi, resident of Jand village, Amritsar of Punjab and recovered the heroin from their possession.
