J&K ACB recovers over Rs 35 lakh cash from revenue official in bribery case

Jammu, Nov 4 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau has recovered Rs 35 lakh cash from a revenue official in bribery case in Samba district.
The ACB spokesman here today said that a case was registered against public servant, namely, Sunil Kumar, Patwari, Patwar Halqa Dadui, Tehsil and District Samba, for demanding and accepting illegal gratification from the complainant.
The accused public servant, he said demanded the bribe amounting to Rs 1,00,000/- from the complainant, for preparing a report, sought by Tehsildar Samba on the application of complainant, with respect to correction of Girdawari.
