HP: Two smugglers arrested with chitta in Hamirpur

Hamirpur, Nov 27 (UNI) A team of Police Station Sadar Hamirpur under Police Station Sadar of District Police Hamirpur recovered 105.23 grams of heroin (chitta) from the possession of two men.
Both accused -- Rajat Mehra, son of Om Prakash, resident of House No. 47, Ward No. 02, Laxmi Gali, near Government Senior Secondary School (Boys), Hamirpur and Ayush Thakur, son of Sanjay Kumar, resident of village Chhioin, Dr. Kha. Pantehra, Tehsil Ghumarwin, District Bilaspur (HP) -- were arrested by the police team and a case was registered under the NDPS Act at Sadar Police Station, Hamirpur.
The two were produced before a local court today, which remanded them to 5-day police custody, said SP Hamirpur, Bhagat Singh Thakur here today. UNI ZC NST SS
