Haryana cop held for taking Rs 20,000 bribe

Chandigarh, Aug 23 (UNI) The Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday arrested a Head Constable posted in Karnal for accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 on the promise of removing the complainant's name from a first information report, a statement said on Friday.
According to a government spokesperson, the ACB team caught Head Constable Sandeep while accepting the bribe.
A case has been registered against him at the ACB police station in Karnal.
