CM Saini reviews 'Samadhan Shivirs', directs officials to ensure prompt grievance redressal

Chandigarh, April 9 (UNI) Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday conducted a comprehensive high-level review of the 'Samadhan Shivirs' being organised across the state to address public grievances.
During the meeting, held via video conferencing, the Chief Minister interacted directly with citizens from various districts to understand their concerns and issued stern directives to administrative officials to ensure the effective and time-bound resolution of all pending complaints.
The Samadhan Shivirs, which are held every Monday and Thursday in the offices of Deputy Commissioners and Sub-Divisional Officers, serve as a primary platform for citizens to present their issues. While a significant portion of complaints is resolved on the spot, the remaining cases are mandated to be settled within a window of 7 to 15 days. Data shared during the meeting revealed that since the campaign's inception on June 10, 2024, approximately 1.5 lakh complaints have been registered state-wide, with a successful resolution rate of nearly 78 per cent.
