How natural farming changed Amar Singh's life, his family in Hamirpur village

Nadaun(HP), Dec 7 (UNI) Several farmers of Himachal Pradesh, who have adopted natural farming are not only growing safe and nutritious fruits, vegetables and grains for themselves by opting for this cheap and poison-free farming method, but are also reaping rich financial rewards from it.
Amar Singh of village Sadhbad of Gram Panchayat Kamlah of Nadaun Sub-Division of District Hamirpur also adopted this traditional method of farming and today he is selling vegetables worth around one lakh rupees in the local market.
Amar Singh had been farming his ancestral land for many years using chemical fertilizers and pesticides along with a temporary job. This was costing more, and their fields were being poisoned by chemical fertilizers and pesticides. This poison was also seeping into the produce, with the fertility of the soil decreasing.
