Punjab Power employees protest against Asset sale, oppose electricity bill 2025

Ludhiana, Nov 2 (UNI) Hundreds of power employees staged a protest outside Punjab Power Minister Sanjeev Arora’s official residence in Ludhiana on Saturday, opposing the proposed sale of valuable assets of the power corporation and the implementation of the Central Government’s Electricity Bill 2025.

The demonstration was organized jointly by various unions of power sector employees from across the state. Around noon, large groups of protesters gathered outside the minister’s residence, raising slogans against the government’s policies.
