UP CM constitutes high-powered committee to probe Noida issue Flash

Lucknow, Apr 13(UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday constituted a high-powered 12-member committee, headed by Industrial Development Commissioner ( IDC), to investigate and address industrial discord and resolve issues related to labour protests, specifically following recent disturbances in the Noida manufacturing hub.
The high-level committee will resolve industrial disharmony and ensure peace by negotiating with various stakeholders and will submit its reports at the earliest.
The committee includes IDC as Chairman; Additional Chief Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department; Principal Secretary, Labour and Employment Department; Labour Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur(member secretary), along with five members of labour unions and three members from entrepreneurs' associations.

The state’s first Skill Development Centre under the Jal Jeevan Mission has been established in Ayodhya, where artisans associated with the mission are being provided practical training. So far, more than 550 artisans, including women, have been trained and made skilled.
