Dense fog causes massive pile-up on Delhi-Lucknow Highway: Six accidents, 1 dead, 25 injured

Lucknow, Jan 18 (UNI) Dense fog in Uttar Pradesh led to six road accidents on Sunday, involving around 30 vehicles. One person died, while 25 others sustained injuries.
Amroha was among the worst-hit areas, where dozens of vehicles collided, leaving a long line of damaged vehicles on National Highway-9. Several people sustained injuries in these crashes. Poor visibility caused by thick fog led to over 10 vehicles colliding in two separate accidents near the Didoli area, with at least six people injured, three of them critically.
In Kushinagar, several passengers were hurt when a roadways bus collided with a truck, while in Bareilly, a school bus and a pickup truck collision injured both drivers.
