UP: Tragic crash in UP’s Jalaun claims lives of three friends

Jalaun (UP), Dec 3 (UNI) Three teenagers lost their lives in a road accident in the Sirsa Kalar police station area, about 45 km from the district headquarters, police said on Wednesday.
The victims were returning home from a religious event late Tuesday night when their motorcycle crashed into an electric pole.
According to police, Anshuman Parihar (18), son of Santaram; Ankit Sakwar (17), son of Kamlesh; and Krishna Kumar Vishwakarma (17), son of Sunil, all residents of Hanthna Buzurg village, had gone to nearby Gadhela village to attend a bhandara organized during an 11-kundiya Yagya–Bhagwat Katha.

Golden Temple sarovar incident: youth apologises for ablution video

Chandigarh, Jan 16 (UNI) A young man who went viral for performing ablution at the sacred 'sarovar' (pond) of Sri Harmandir Sahib has come forward to apologise for his actions. The video, which circulated widely on social media, showed the youth sitting at the edge of the holy tank and rinsing his mouth, with some of the water unintentionally falling back into the sarovar.

Youth stabbed to death near the BJP office in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Jan 15 (UNI) A young man riding a scooter was stabbed to death in broad daylight near the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in Sector 37 here on Friday, triggering concern over public safety in a busy administrative area of the city. The attack was carried out by two assailants who arrived on a motorcycle and fled after the assault.
