London/New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) The UK has urged India and Pakistan to show restraint and engage in direct dialogue to find a swift, diplomatic path forward, in the wake of India launching cross-border strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and POK to avenge the Pahalgam attack.
UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy in a statement said that he has made clear to his counterparts from both nations that “if this escalates further, nobody wins”.
He also said that “all sides need to work urgently to see regional stability restored and ensure protection of civilians”.
