Delhi Police chief chairs inter- state coordination meet ahead of R- Day celebrations

New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) Ahead of the Republic Day 2026, in a bid to ensure incident free celebrations, the Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha on Thursday chaired a meeting attended by senior police officers from different states to ensure smooth coordination and inter-agency cooperation, preparing for the national event.
The officers from the multiple law enforcement and central intelligence agencies shared intel-inputs and the anti-terror strategies including stepped up checking at border points, verification of suspicious elements and several other aspects that are crucial to security in view of the Republic Day Parade.
Senior Police officers from Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, and Chandigarh were present in the meeting. Officials said they shared their views and exchanged important intelligence.
