Delhi Police launches citywide ‘Eyes and Ears’ outreach ahead of Republic Day

New Delhi, 11 Jan (UNI): Delhi Police on Sunday conducted a comprehensive outreach program under its 'Eyes and Ears' Scheme across police stations in all districts, metro units, and IGIA units.
The initiative saw massive public participation, with thousands of citizens attending the program in person.
The participants included members of Market Welfare Associations (MWAs), Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), hotel owners, second-hand car dealers, fruit and vegetable vendors, security personnel, porters, and other community representatives.

New Delhi, Jul 21 (UNI) Nearly 11 days after activist Sonam Wangchuk was forcibly removed by Delhi Police from his protest site and admitted to Safdarjung Hospital on grounds of "health concerns," the Delhi High Court on Tuesday cleared his transfer to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, ruling that he requires continuous medical supervision as he continues his indefinite hunger strike.
