Rahul reiterates ‘vote theft’ charge against PM Modi, EC; warns of similar attempts in Bihar

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) Congress leader and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi today renewed his attack on the BJP and the Election Commission, alleging that “chunav chori” (vote theft) had taken place in several states and warned that similar attempts could be made in Bihar.
Gandhi said, “We have a lot of material; we will continue this process. We will clearly show India’s GenZ and youth that Narendra Modi became the PM through ‘chunav chori’ and BJP indulges in ‘chunav chori’.” He alleged that the BJP and the Election Commission were “attacking the Constitution together,” and cited examples from the recent Haryana elections, claiming that a “‘wholesale chori’ occurred there.”
“There was no response by the EC to the allegations levelled by me, fake vote, fake photograph,” Gandhi said, adding that “Narendra Modi ji, Amit Shah ji and EC are attacking the Constitution together. The Constitution says 'One man, one vote' but “in Haryana, it became ‘one man, multiple votes’.”
