Nitish's policy of women empowerment, law & order record, won him the elections: KC Tyagi

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) Veteran politician and former Member of Parliament KC Tyagi on Monday said Nitish Kumar's better law and order track record, clean image and policies benefiting women were the major reasons for his resounding victory in the recent Bihar Assembly elections.
Speaking to UNI, Tyagi said that he was expecting the easy victory for Nitish's party.
"I was not surprised at all by the result. Last time we won 43 seats, losing 40 seats due to Ram Vilas Paswan's party contesting against us. I had predicted prior to the elections that we will win 80 plus seats. There was also a sympathy wave for Nitish Kumar who did well for Bihar."
