BJP accuses WB govt of ‘talibani mentality’ over attacks on BJP tribal workers

New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) The BJP today criticised the West Bengal government, accusing it of harbouring a ‘Talibani mentality’ amid escalating violence against BJP leaders during flood relief and rescue operations.
Speaking at a press conference here, party spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala labeled the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) government as one that represents a "Talibani culture."
He said that despite the ongoing natural disaster engulfing the state, Mamata Banerjee is more interested in celebrations than the welfare of the people whose houses were submerged in floodwaters.
