Arvinder Lovely quits Congress on welcoming anti-national people: BJP

New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday asserted that Arvinder Singh Lovely’s resignation as Delhi Congress chief comes in opposition to giving tickets to those involved in anti-national activities.
Addressing a press conference, Sachdeva said, “Opposition to giving tickets to those involved in anti-national activities-Kanhaiya Kumar and Udit Raj is the reason behind Lovely’s resignation.”
“The language of resignation of both Congress leaders Rajkumar Chauhan and Lovely is the same,” he said.
Citing two reasons behind Lovely’s resignation, Sachdeva termed the Aam Aadmi Party as a corrupt party.
“First reason is going with the corrupt Aam Aadmi Party, then the second issue of giving a ticket to Kanhaiya Kumar and Udit Raj, who stays with anti-national forces,” he said.
“The cycle of resignations in the Congress won't stop. This will continue,” Sachdeva said.
On the INDI alliance, Sachdeva said, “Every person who loves the country will not stay in this alliance.”
Meanwhile, when asked about Congress leaders Arvinder Singh Lovely and Rajkumar Chauhan joining the BJP, Sachdeva said that everyone is welcome in our party.
On the question of whether they might not return to Congress after the elections, he said, “When a new daughter-in-law comes in the house, she is welcomed, but she also has to improve her behavior."
