PM Modi launches 150th anniversary commemoration of 'Vande Mataram'

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the year-long commemoration of the 150th anniversary of India's national song, "Vande Mataram," at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.
The grand event was marked by a mass recital of the iconic song, the release of a commemorative stamp and coin, and vibrant cultural performances that showcased India's rich heritage.
In his address, the Prime Minister emphasised the profound significance of the song, stating that 'Vande Mataram' is far more than just a composition.
