PM Modi to launch four new Vande Bharat Express trains in Varanasi on Saturday

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate four new Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi on Saturday, marking a major milestone in India’s efforts to modernize its rail network, a government release today said.
Scheduled to commence at 8:15 am, this initiative reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and fostering economic growth through world-class transport services.
The new trains will ply the Banaras–Khajuraho, Lucknow–Saharanpur, Firozpur–Delhi, and Ernakulam–Bengaluru routes, significantly cutting travel times and improving convenience for millions of passengers.

IndiGo cancels over 750 flights amid pilot shortage; FDTL relaxation sought

New Delhi, Dec 5 (UNI) IndiGo’s operational disruption entered its third day on Friday, with over 750 flights cancelled across major airports, adding to the more than 550 cancellations reported the previous day.
The airline has called off all 235 flights at Delhi airport on Friday, while operations at Chennai are expected to be affected until 6 pm. Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad have also experienced significant disruptions.
