PM Modi accorded warm welcome on arrival in Argentina

Buenos Aires/New Delhi, July 5 (UNI) On the third phase of his five nation tour, PM Modi reached Argentina today, on his arrival he was accorded a warm welcome at the Ezeiza International Airport.
People of the Indian community too extended a warm welcome to the Prime Minister on his arrival. The local Indian expatriates performed Kathak and other traditional dances in PM Modi’s honour.
PM Modi wrote on his social media page "Landed in Buenos Aires for a bilateral visit which will focus on augmenting relations with Argentina. I am eager to be meeting President Javier Milei and holding detailed talks with him"
PM Modi is touring Argentina on the invitation of the Argentine President. He will be meeting President Milei later today, during the meeting the two sides will look into possibilities of cooperation between the two nations.
Top of the agenda will be talks on defence, oil and gas, renewable energy, agriculture, mining, trade and investment.
He arrived in Argentina after his Trinidad & Tobago visit, "Thank you Trinidad & Tobago, I will never be able to forget my time here, we have given new momentum to ties between India and Trinidad & Tobago" he wrote on his ‘X’ account.
He thanked Trinidad & Tobago PM Kamla Persad-Bissessar, her government and the people for the warmth extended towards him during his visit.
