Ambition of 140 cr people is my mission: PM

New Delhi, April 14 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday released the BJP's manifesto 'Sankalp Patra' with tagline 'Modi ki Guarantee' and said that the 'ambition' of 140 crore people of the country was his 'mission' and sought their blessings in creating a 'Viksit Bharat'.
The Prime Minister, while addressing the party leaders after releasing the manifesto, said, "India's growth has been fuelled by our focus on 'Vikas' and 'Virasat'. India has been setting new benchmarks in growth of both ecology and economy. Our Sankalp Patra is more than just a collection of promises; but outlines the collective aspirations and goals of our nation, by our nation, and for our nation.".
He said, "In the next five years, with your blessings, it is Modi's guarantee that we will work 24 hours a day for 2047. We will take our nation into the top three economies of the world, launch a final decisive assault against poverty, open up newer avenues of growth in various sectors, further intensify our battle against corruption, unveil the next generation of reforms, and take a number of pro-people decisions and actions."
Stating that his government was committed to uplifting poverty, Modi said, "We will continue to focus on empowering our garib parivar jan to improve their quality of life, increase income, and live with dignity.".
He said that reform, performance, and transformation were his party's mantra for good governance and would be working towards making 'One Nation, One Election' a reality.
In the last 10 years, the BJP government has presented a unique model of inclusive growth to the world, where more than 80 crore people have been receiving free rations since 2020.
The PM said that for creating a 'Viksit Bharat', 'Nari Shakti' has to be an equal partner and promised to empower three crore rural women to become 'Lakhpati Didis'.
Stating that his government was committed to improving the lives of all marginalised sections of society, society said that the year 2025 the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda as 'Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh'.
Modi said that his government has established Bharat as a 'reliable, trusted, and dependable voice globally in the last ten years'. Adding to that, "We will build upon the success of the 'No Money for Terror' conference to develop better coordination on countering terrorism financing.".
The Prime Minister also promised to make India a Global Manufacturing Hub, Semiconductor Hub, Automobile and EV Manufacturing Hub, which will help in creating employment opportunities and expanding economic activity.
