ED attaches ₹17.45 crore properties in Goa Nightclub Case linked to fatal fire

New Delhi, Apr 8 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Panaji Zonal Office, on Wednesday said it has attached immovable properties worth ₹17.45 crore in connection with an ongoing investigation into the alleged illegal operation of the “Birch by Romeo Lane” nightclub at Arpora, Goa, where a fire in December last year claimed 25 lives.
The ED initiated the investigation based on FIRs registered by Goa Police at Anjuna Police Station and Mapusa Police Station against nightclub co-owner Saurabh Luthra and others under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
