Congress MP Manickam Tagore raises alarm over Delhi-NCR air pollution crisis

New Delhi, Dec 11 (UNI) Congress MP Manickam Tagore Thursday raised a red flag in the Lok Sabha over the alarming air pollution levels in Delhi-NCR, accusing the government of failing to take decisive action to address the crisis.
"Delhi-NCR is breathing toxic, hazardous air. Children are missing schools. Workers cannot stand outdoors. Hospitals are overflowing with respiratory and cardiac cases," Tagore said, urging the government to wake up to the reality of the situation.
"The government's response has been cosmetic gimmicks, manipulating AQI numbers by spraying water near monitoring stations, rather than enforcing strict measures to reduce pollution," Tagore alleged.
