PM Modi honours top 12 'My Country, My Lens' winners

New Delhi, Dec 7 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi felicitated the Top 12 winners of a nationwide photography contest and appreciated their lensmanship for keeping those moments alive forever during a media event here.
"I watched the exhibition and will request everyone to see it. The photographer friends have captured moments in a way to make them immortal…I believe it can become a source of great strength for photography in the country," the Prime Minister said.
Last year in November, the photography challenge, 'My Country, My Lens', invited citizens to showcase their view of India by capturing it through their own lens. The contest received over 10,000 entries from more than 30 cities across four themes: Borders, Rivers, Monuments, and Communities of My Country, according to a press statement.
